The Department of Foreign Languages at the University of North Alabama will celebrate National French Week through Nov. 8 with a variety of campus-based cultural events, including Croissants with the French Club on Friday at 12:30 p.m. on the lawn of Wesleyan Hall.

Tenth in a Series The University of North Alabama is home to the Delores and Weldon Cole Honors College. Its mission is to provide students with a great college experience that translates into postgraduate success. The College is full of many students with different majors, backgrounds, and aspirations.
For the second consecutive year, the University of North Alabama has broken all previous fundraising records for FY23 that concluded Sept. 30. The previous record of $22,865,000 raised in FY22 has been exceeded by more than $11.5 million dollars for a total raised of $33,545,310.
Student success in the higher education setting comes in a variety of forms, and retention is a top indicator that students are finding pathways to accomplish their academic goals and work toward graduation. At the University of North Alabama, student retention has achieved a high watermark, with almost 80 percent of freshmen opting to return to campus for their degree work.
The fourth Pawloween trunk-or-treat event, sponsored by the Town and Gown Task Force on behalf of the City of Florence and the University of North Alabama, will be Saturday, Oct. 28, from 10 a.m. until noon on Wood Avenue in Seven Points.
